Welcome to XPyCode
This installer will set up XPyCode — the Python-Excel
integration service — on your Mac.
What will be installed
- XPyCode service at
/Applications/XPyCode/
- Dedicated Python runtime (isolated, does not modify your system Python)
xpycode:// URL protocol handler for Excel Add-in communication- Launch Agent for automatic start at login
- Desktop shortcut and uninstaller script
Requirements
- macOS 10.15 Catalina or later (Intel or Apple Silicon)
- Internet connection (Python and xpycode_master are downloaded during install)
- Administrator password
Note: The installer will download Python 3 and the
xpycode_master package from the internet. Please ensure
you have an active internet connection before proceeding.
