    "Step 1a: Choose `DirectionofInvestment`. The first page of the iTables query asks you to pick the \"Investment Type\" which roughly maps to `DirectionOfInvestment`\n",

    "* Choose “inward” for most “foreign direct investment in the United States” requests. However, for certain data (series ID = 8, 9) by U.S. state, choose “state”\n",
    "* Choose “outward” for most “United States direct investment abroad” requests.
